Dear SA referees and coaches

AT has recently released a new framework for state referee officials to deliver and manage local refereeing courses and qualification levels include a new Cadet 12yrs old age referee who are not expected to centre referee or operate video review jury. 

Also, World Taekwondo has published new rule interpretations effective June 1 2026  to Kyorugi matches to align with the spirit of the game. 

If you have members registered with AT, and who are interested in learning to become a Taekwondo referee, or you would like to refresh your knowledge of the rules and interpretations, then I invite you to register and come along to my session as follows:

When: Sunday June 21, 10am to 2pm.

Where: ATA Norwood – 32 Chapel Street, Norwood

Cost: $40 (to be reimbursed upon first officiating event!)

What to bring: wear casual active clothes, water bottle and a notepad.
